20 Days of School
Happy Birthday::Lamar Cooper
In honor of Autism Awareness Month and Child Abuse Prevention Month, we are asking the staff and students to wear blue each Thursday in April
The PTO will be collecting box tops for education. This will be a fun, competition between the classes. Each month the class that has collected the most box tops will be treated to an ice cream party. We ask that you turn your box tops in to the office on the last Wednesday of each month. They will be counted on Thursday, and on Friday the winning class will be announced.
We have some fun stuff at the Student-Run Credit Unions this month because it is Youth Month!
Once again, we will be celebrating during the month of April with three separate activities:
1) Win the Pig Contest – Students will have a chance to guess how many skittles are in the piggy bank. The student with the closest guess at the end of April will win the candy-filled piggy bank.
2) Coloring Contest- A coloring sheet will be displayed at the Student-Run Branch during the month of April. There are three age categories for winners: Ages 0-6, ages 7-11 and ages 12+. We are giving away a $25.00 Visa gift cards for the winners of the categories. (These will be selected out of our entire membership not just your school.)
3) Savings Challenge – All youth members who make a deposit in their own savings account every week in April at their Student-Run Credit Union every week during the month of April will win a small prize.
