The 2024 Fall Sports Season officially starts August 1st!
All student athletes need to have an active sports physical on file at the school. Physicals need to be updated yearly. The Adena Mobile Clinic will be at the school July 25th and can do sports physicals or parents can make an appointment with their family physician. Huntington Volleyball Tryouts
Junior High (7th and 8th Grade) Volleyball Tryouts will be held Thursday 8/1 and Friday 8/2 from 5-7pm. Players must attend both days to be considered for the team.
High School Tryouts will be held 8/1 from 8-10am
United Way of Ross County in partnership with Mid-Ohio Food Bank is hosting a Produce Market at Huntington Schools tomorrow, July 20th. Produce Markets are held ‘Rain or Shine’ from 10AM – 11:30AM. Reminder: All 7th graders will need Tdap & meningococcal vaccinations, and all seniors will need a meningococcal booster before school starts. In addition to your doctor’s office, vaccines are available through the county health department, some nearby pharmacies, or here in the township at the Adena Mobile Clinic. Congratulations to the Huntington HS Trap Shooting Team on winning first place in their conference! Austin Cooper brought home first and Clayton Smith placed 2nd. Jacob Cooper was the first shooter in Huntington Trap history to shoot a 25 at state, and one of only 13 competitors to do so today. Austin Cooper finished 6th in the state.
